I have a 1987 dodge daytona ShelbyZ with the 2.2L turbo. ive had it for about 2 years now and a couple weeks ago the turbo will not get vacuum or boost. it all of the sudden quit working Sad  I am also not receiving the power from the turbo like i used to(obviously). i have checked the turbo splines and they rotate freely with no play in them. all of the vacuum lines i can get to are plugged in and no cracks. there is no trouble codes. what would be my next step into diagnosing my problem?

Have you checked the waste gate arm to make sure its not stuck or maybe off?

Yes, the arm does come off and pops back on. I did it on my 87 Shelby Z

wow it was something really simple. i had 4 vacuum lines that went from the intake to the waste gate solenoid, purge solenoid, barometer just barley unhooked that was causing the problem  Smile im glad it wasnt anything major (yet)
