You know, I kind of feel the same way. I thought you should know that my brother owned a 67 GT 500, 428 twin 4 bbls. It kind of slipped my mind, since it was my brothers after all.

Thanks, I guess every bit helps to make some kind of difference. Hey, just a thought... maybe I'll get someone who called me about my car to sign up on this site. What do you think of that? Who knows, maybe this might turn into a bangin place to plug in. He has a rotten 88 Daytona t2 that might need a body replacement. Oh as far as tags go, I might still have some of those rivets that hold them in place. You know? the right ones, from the factory...

hehe and the conspiracy begins

Its a damn clean car, a shame its gotta be parted out, but with no title not much else I can do with it.

T-top shelby daytona. Most all of it is still there, need to find a place where I can tear into it.

You Have tags from another car? The title? Then what is really the issue? Don't you read my posts? Or am I wasting my effort... seems it's always a possibility. I stated prior, that I have the correct flower shaped rivets... if interested talk.

Do you have tags, and title to another similar appearing car? Same year? Doesn't even have to be the same color, could even be off by a year, only you or someone who really knows these cars would ever know the difference. Or maybe you know someone with the right year title, and tags.... you could acquire...

Someone I know had a 72 Mopar product, now it's a 70 Mopar product. Now this is documented as well if it good enough it is worth the trouble. If you owned both vehicles then what is really the issue? Just that one has been used up as a donor then it went to a good cause. Instead of two, now there is one. There is no waste...

I couldn't access my page, I guess the computer wiped the history, and took the auto entry out. All I'm suggesting is that Maybe you should hold out until you find a similar year car, hopefully it's a complete wreck so you can use the tags, and papers from one for the other. Maybe they aren't quite as plentiful as they used to be. Seems as though people here have similar collections as you guys down there. Through these ads I've been able to find more people that have more than one of these cars at a time. 700 hits, and climbing. Some people are way far from here, and still interested in the car. Have you guys checked the ads? Some of these people think that perhaps the car could be driven with no motor, and trans. When the ad states within the first sentence the motor and trans are gone.

I'll say, can't run a clean website any longer. The reason I asked was I tried to find out about something unrelated to 2.2. So I inadvertently logged on to Turbo Dodge, and couldn't for the life of me access their page without joining.
That's when they turned me down for trying to put spam on their pages? I don't know what the Hell they are talking about. I believe I followed an ad onto their site, and couldn't access without becoming a member. Now, if I have to work that hard, to either check an ad or become a new member, I would rather not. Regardless how good the site is.

I don't remember off hand. I have tried to remember, but it was non 2.2 related. I was looking at something on ebay, then clicked onto something in 2.2 parts, saw something else, and clicked on that. Found something else of interest, it claimed I could get an answer to something else that I had wanted an answer to. Then ended up of all places at Turbo Dodge!! I know this is a bit strange, but they wouldn't let me get any further than that. I even searched my history folder, and I didn't realize how much other stuff I had looked at.

Hmm, never heard of that, perhaps you were trying to acess a "forbidden" or private area?

Whatever the issue, i digress.

I am sellling both daytonas I own for an 86 plymouth Turismo, rust free, and has always been a dream car of mine. In due time, I will get another 86 Turbo Z, and make it a fast car. But for now, the opportunity has come up for me to get a running car I don't have to mess with.

I am sad to see the 86 go, but it will go to a good home, to someone who can do more for it than I could. I am going to talk to the buyer and see if maybe I could buy it back in years ahead, but for now, I will stick with my 'lil l-body.

Weeell... I'm happy to see that you are doing what your heart tells you to do. I'm also grateful for your interest in my doings.
I wanted you to know, before I became a member on this site I tried to become a member on Turbo Dodge just prior to applying here. It does seem a bit strange that they never sent me the welcome letter, as well as the login information. This time I didn't access any forbidden or private anything, they just wouldn't allow me in. I have no idea what I have done, as far as I know. But this is the second time, only that they told me that I'm a spammer??? So be what it is, I honestly can't be bothered by this really. I've already wasted enough time trying to sort this out. Thanks for your help anyway.

they didn't mail me that, they told me that the moment I applied for membership. On their own page. Otherwise I would send you a copy. or maybe I should just try applying again, and if it occurs I'll take a photo, if I can't copy it. I don't lie, and I don't think I could possibly make up the story. I just didn't think I wanted to waste any more of my time on it. I really don't have any idea. I wish I knew the answer to that. Before the initial application I never had any contact with turbo Dodge. That was just before I joined here, I applied there, and they never returned with a welcome letter. I was expecting the welcome letter at the same time as yours. In which I am very grateful for. You have been most helpful and courteous. I apologize for jumping the gun a bit. But I really try to be honest. I find it increasingly hard to find people of that caliber. If I say something that isn't quite right, I will normally make serious effort to correct it. I know that saying things that aren't right don't sit right in my heart. It is very uncomfortable, to say the least. Sorry about the long winded response, But I feel that you should know this much about me.

Hey I have some good news, I found a standard size steel 2.2 crank for $150, a two piece intake for the same money, and a brand new VNT turbo for $350. And last but not least, a brand new head no valves or springs for $125. I know I can get a package deal outside of the VNT for the other parts. Since it's the one person who owns the rest of the parts. I can't believe what comes out of the woodwork when you least expect. I thought it would take a lot longer to find these parts. Ralf...

Yeah it's not very common to come across that kind of thing, especially the three together. Are the turbo II rods in the common block, the same as the 87 turbo II rods? I haven't removed the ones in my motor, and I would like to know before I remove them. Ralf

I was a bit concerned that the common block used rods that didn't bear the same weight as the earlier motors. Since they used a cast crank in 89, I would of thought they changed the rods to a lighter less endurable part. Thanks, Ralf...

I have the original motor from my 91 GTC conv. I just don't know where I put it. The guy that's selling me the steel crank etc.. he offered me a 2.5 short block that's never run, he's tossing it in for no extra along with a bunch of other stuff. Two piece intake, and the brand new head $400. I 'm really debating some half decent rod's, and maybe some Wiseco piston's, but I really have to watch what I do at the moment. Just a lot of weird stuff going on at the moment. If it wasn't so darn tense up here, I would be considering your turbo. Maybe things will loosen up a bit. I can't believe the deals that are all popping up at one time.

I got the parts!!! The intake has all the components on it, throttle body, injectors fuel rail. It surprised me, I figured that it would've been bare. but it's complete.Even the screws are all there, and the injector harness! The crank is standard size. The head is a never used piece, but it's bare. I got all sorts of stuff.
I have a question, how can you tell a A-555 trans, if the tag is missing?
